LORI HINTON / Author
Lori Hinton grew up watching people leave and return to West Seattle. In the late 90s, after attending the University of Oregon School of Journalism and trotting around the globe, she too returned to her neighborhood and found it evolving in interesting ways. This discovery (and rediscovery) of her home town inspired Hinton to write a popular column for her local paper, the West Seattle Herald. Hinton has also written for the Discovery Channel, The History Channel, National Geographic TV and PBS.
